As a part of Square's Trust & Safety Team, you ensure the safety and security of Square's assets and infrastructure through the successful deployment and maintenance of physical security systems and technology. You will support physical security system installations and maintenance globally and effectively coordinate with vendors to ensure these installations are completed following Square's security standards. You will assist with the repair and maintenance program, with direct hands-on installation, support, and maintenance of hardware and software.

You will:

  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot security systems software and hardware

  • Manage security device IP assignments, whitelisting and hostname provisioning

  • Support the global repair and maintenance program for Square's security systems

  • Support new office build designs and installation projects

  • Work under the direction of the Global Security Systems Lead and a tenured Physical Security Systems Administrator/Technician

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure IT, Network, and other required services are established and optimized

  • Develop and maintain relationships with security integrators and partner technology providers

  • Use your hands-on field experience to effectively manage installations and vendor efforts

  • Domestic and international travel may be required

You have:

  • Skills and experience with deploying and managing web-based access control systems, IP video systems, IP cameras; programming access control panels; installing hardware; testing and commissioning systems; troubleshooting door hardware; and performing installations

  • Desired but not required: CompTIA or other networking/computer certification(s)

  • Desired but not required: 1-3+ years of security systems experience in areas of system administration, installation, design, vendor management, or security project management

  • Desired but not required: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Skills required: Communication, problem solving, planning, curiosity, making and owning decisions

  • A passion for Square and its customers

Even better:

  • You have experience administering a network

  • You have hands-on low voltage systems experience

The Physical Security Manager will be an integral member of Fitbit's Global Workplace Team and will be responsible for the entire spectrum of Physical Security. This position reports to the Director of Global RE & Workplace, and partners with the Global Workplace Health & Safety Manager, the Sr. Workplace Operations Manager, the RE & Workplace Project Manager, IT, and the Systems Security Team. Responsibilities: In addition to site Security operations, the Security Manager is a key member of Regional Fire / Life Safety Compliance Teams will interact across all levels across the Fitbit global portfolio. The Security Manager will be responsible for developing and integrating global and regional security protocols to foster a safe and secure working environment matched to Fitbit's culture.
