Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an overnight Physical Security Shift Supervisor to join the dynamic team in our Edgewood, NY facility. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the following: the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, the access control system, security records, key control, ID/access badge issue, physical security of the site, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic inventory accountability, and safety inspections. As the Shift Supervisor you will be the first line supervisory contact for Associates, vendors, and contract security officers. During the appointed shift, you'll be directly responsible for the execution of duties by security staff.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. The work hours will be overnights Sunday
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and controlling access into any Broadridge facility or sensitive/critical area within the facility
Ensuring the safety of assigned Associates and guests as well as ensuring the assigned sites are secured via physical or electronic tours
Responsible for the general administration of the Security Console Room (central monitoring station) to include but not limited to the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, the access control system (ACS), and the BMS/HVAC systems
Responsible to ensure sites are following relevant audits, client audits, policies & procedures, and contractual obligations
Investigate any incidents that occur and notify the proper organizational representatives of the incidents, and procedural breaches in security policies
Responsible for maintaining all security documentation and acting as a training officer for assigned staff (including proprietary and contract staff)
When required, this role will assume the duties of the Security Site Manager and complete any additional directives put forth by the Corporate Security Management Team
Supervises staff in performance of work and provides guidance in the resolution of problems, ensuring employees adhere to established organization procedures, rules and regulations
Conducts performance evaluations for assigned staff
Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with current Safety and Security policies and procedures
Draft policies and procedures for upper management review and implementation
Responsible for all associate administration, such as counseling and scheduling.
Requirements:
High School diploma is required with a minimum of three years of experience in the security field (Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or the recommendation of the hiring manger can be substituted for "security field" experience)
Able to work from Sunday
Ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner
Must be able to write in an effective, clear, and concise manner
Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy is required
Journeyman ability to use personal computer, including, but not limited to, an intermediary level of the following: Typing, MS Excel and MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS TEAMS is required
CPR qualified preferred
Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management
Salary range $ 57,000 - $67,000 annual. Bonus Eligible.
