Department: DT Sports Med Physical Therapy
Hours: 9:30a - 6p M-Thur; 8:30-5p Friday
As a Physical Medicine Aide in our busy Sports Medicine clinic you will attend to the daily operations of the department and assist the therapy staff in providing excellent patient care.
Some responsibilities include:
Provide and/or assist with patient treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist;
Perform pre-treatment set-up of rooms and prepare patients for therapy sessions;
Provide administrative support for the department including, but not limited to: maintaining schedules; performing clerical tasks (e.g., faxing documents); making deliveries and running errands; and completing computer-related work;
Issue assistive devices and equipment for in-facility use and for patient discharge;
Order equipment as needed and in accordance with the established schedule and protocol, clean and maintain various department equipment and supplies

High school diploma or equivalent required.
