Department: DT Sports Med Physical Therapy

Hours: 9:30a - 6p M-Thur; 8:30-5p Friday

As a Physical Medicine Aide in our busy Sports Medicine clinic you will attend to the daily operations of the department and assist the therapy staff in providing excellent patient care.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Provide and/or assist with patient treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist;

  • Perform pre-treatment set-up of rooms and prepare patients for therapy sessions;

  • Provide administrative support for the department including, but not limited to: maintaining schedules; performing clerical tasks (e.g., faxing documents); making deliveries and running errands; and completing computer-related work;

  • Issue assistive devices and equipment for in-facility use and for patient discharge;

  • Order equipment as needed and in accordance with the established schedule and protocol, clean and maintain various department equipment and supplies

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Collaborate with cross-functional central operations team, external business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet all business requirements and deliverables * Issue purchase orders, work orders and other contract documents * Track orders to meet schedule requirements (includes managing timeframes and resolving issues as they arise) * Assist with project documentation, including RFI's, submittals and change orders * Maintain procurement records and databases (e.g. supplier setup, contract information, catalogs) * Liaise with the A/P department in regards to invoices, supplier holds and cost discrepancies * Utilize multiple databases and systems to deliver accurate metrics, reporting and analytics * Support procurement project activities throughout all phases of the project * Day-to-day supplier management, including transactional issue resolution and critical information gathering regarding schedules, invoices, tracking info, etc. * Ensure adherence to Amazon's policies and local procurement policies and procedures * Develop and maintain supplier relationships and vendor scorecards * Track and communicate supplier delivery schedules with internal partners, contractors and vendors, escalating issues and risks, as required. * Inform project budgets as necessary and work with internal and external teams to compile final project costs. * Assisting in compiling project turnover and closeout documents for internal customers * Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and implementation of procurement best practices to maximize efficiency for the team and improve lead time performance within the procurement process.
