Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages students to engage in physical activities, develop healthy habits, and understand the importance of fitness and wellness. This role involves creating comprehensive lesson plans, assessing student performance, and mentoring students to achieve their personal best in physical education. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging physical education curriculum that aligns with educational standards.

• Plan and conduct lessons that educate students on various sports, fitness activities, and health-related topics.

• Utilize standardized testing to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

• Mentor students in their physical development and provide academic advising related to health and fitness.

• Write detailed lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.

• Calculate student performance metrics and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.

• Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education with overall academic goals.

• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning within the realm of physical education.

• Strong knowledge of sports, fitness principles, and health education.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire students.

• Previous experience in mentoring or academic advising is a plus.

• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to physical education is beneficial.

• Ability to calculate performance metrics and analyze data effectively.
