ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY – CERTIFIED

THE POSITION:  Certified Teacher SY 24-25.

Coaching positions may be available, Grades 6-12

DESCRIPTION: This is a teaching position for Physical Education/Health 6-8 at Colstrip Public Schools.

The position is to administer a Physical Education program at a middle school.  A low deductible, low out-of-pocket comprehensive health plan is available.

Salary base for the 2024-2025 School Year is $40,838 (0 years experience) - $66,974 (MA20 with 10 years experience).  Note: You may bring in up to 10 years experience.  *We are currently negotiating with our Certified Faculty Association, salary may increase.

CREDENTIALS: Must have or be eligible for a Montana Teaching License 6-12 Teacher.

• Location: Colstrip is centrally located between Billings, Miles City and Sheridan, Wyoming.
  
  It is neighbors to the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation, and the Custer National Forest.  The area provides abundant fishing, big game, waterfowl and upland hunting opportunities. The Tongue River Reservoir and the Big Horn Mountains are within a short drive with boating, camping, snowmobiling and skiing opportunities.
