Fall (Aug-Dec) 2019 term
Co-op/intern would be involved in design efforts responsible for high speed logic/circuit design and physical implementation of a subsection of a high-performance, low-power microprocessor core.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Knowledge of VLSI circuit design, high speed logic design and synthesis, custom place and route, Verilog, low power design techniques, gate-level design/verification, timing analysis and optimization, electrical reliability analysis and physical design is desired. Experience with tool scripting (e.g. Perl) and knowledge of computer architecture is a plus.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
No experience required. Completion of 2nd year of Electrical Engineering program preferred.
