The School of Communication, Journalism & Media seeks an instructor to teach the basic photography courses for the photojournalism program and single-camera video production courses for the media arts and cinema arts programs. In addition, we seek a candidate who can teach in one of the following areas: sports media, audio, or studio video production.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in journalism, media, or related field.

  • Previous professional experience in photography and video production. Links to a demo portfolio of preview work are required.

  • Previous teaching experience in higher education.

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sports media, audio production, or television studio production.
  • 3-5 years of previous teaching in higher education.
