Photography Manager

Nationwide Studios, Inc. is a leader in youth portrait photography. Our "Legacy Studios" division specializes in high-volume K-12 school and sports photography as well as K-8 yearbooks. We provide custom comprehensive services and products to meet the needs of every school type and grade level. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Photography Manager who excels in mentoring and leading teams with positivity and by example. Job Overview:

We have an immediate opening for a Photography Manager. This role involves overseeing a team of photographers and managing the financial aspects of a designated territory. The Photography Manager will address and resolve issues within the territory, communicate effectively with internal personnel, and manage expenses, scheduling, product delivery, disciplinary actions, and local training.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule photographers and assistants for school photo shoots.

• Ensure all schedules, including sports, are correctly entered in our CRM system.

• Upload images for yearbooks via various publishing platforms.

• Develop and implement training plans for photographers and assistants.

• Control inventory of photography equipment and order new items as needed.

• Manage labor costs, approve hours, and handle customer expenses.

• Recruit, interview, and recommend photographers and assistants for positions.

• Empower photographers and manage performance, including disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Establish accountability and communication plans using Microsoft Office 365 TEAMs.

• Photograph daily until territory size is sufficient for the role to be 80% management 20% photography.

• Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.

• Help service customers

• Meet and exceed all company SOP on shipping and uploading of jobs

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of photography experience (preferred).

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver's license.

• Reliable internet and ability to use TEAMs on a mobile device.

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

• Strong and engaging phone voice with clear presentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to travel to schools across the state (Required)

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull photography equipment up to 100 lbs.
