Job Overview:

The Photo Producer will report to the Senior Photo Producer, facilitates the management of the photo process for Bloomingdale's, print, special projects, social and video related projects. This will include high level managing internal and external resources, casting models, photographers, stylists and vendors to produce content consistent with Bloomingdale's upscale, dynamic brand strategy. Seeking an individual who is interested in being a proactive team member.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the SVP - Creative Director, the VP - Photography, The ACD - Photography, Art Directors, Project Planners and Buyers to conceptualize and prepare for upcoming shoots.

• Cast, negotiate and book models for all photography, video and special projects. Consistently source talent that meets our brand standards and regularly update the library of approved models. This includes keeping the model pool current by holding regular casting sessions.

• Source models, photographers, stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists for shoots.

• Oversee production of photo shoots. Including maintaining production schedules.

• Negotiate contracts and manage photo shoot and department budgets in partnership with the VP of Photography. This includes the creation and tracking purchase orders

• Develop strong relationships with agencies.

• Scout for new industry talent. Schedule creative reviews to introduce new industry talent to the internal creative team. Ensure that notes on the meetings and various talent are updated and available to the production team on the server.

• Ensure that Bloomingdale's standards are always upheld on set.

• Source talent for video projects and manage post production work.

• Be the team's primary liaison with legal counsel to vet sites that provide stock images and music.

• Attend appropriate meetings that relate to projects when required.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply

• 7+ years of photo production experience in studio and on location.

• Solid agency relationships and knowledge of top photographers, models, etc.

• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and creative

• Prior experience in a fast-paced and dynamic creative environment.

• Strong fashion knowledge and understanding of trends.

• Additional home fashion knowledge is a plus but not necessary

• Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate leadership.

• Must be willing to collaborate and promote teamwork

• Strong work ethic with an ability to be flexible and calm under pressure

• Must understand the nuances of using both digital and film photography

• Will be required to learn internal accounting system

• This position may require travel

• Video experience is a plus but not necessary
