DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia - Valley Forge is seeking a professional hospitality driven individual to join our thriving Front Office team as a PBX Operator.
To operate the property switchboard in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner. To assist with front office clerical support.
Answers and directs all incoming calls and in-house calls received on the main switchboard console promptly and efficiently. Takes messages as required and delivers accordingly.
Communicates all request received to the appropriate department.
Follows up on all guests requests and / or concerns in log.
Enters wake up calls into PBX system and prepares call sheets.
Handles all incoming faxes to the Front Office fax machine and ensures proper delivery. Sends faxes as needed.
Identifies telephone equipment problems and contacts appropriate technicians, troubleshoot minor guest issues.
Maintains key log and issues keys to requesting departments.
Coordinate shuttle schedule and work with drivers to make sure guest drop off and pickups take place on time.
Prepares various reports and charges, including telephone and movie charges.
Log all incoming packages and have delivered to the correct location, make sure all outgoing packages are shipped out.
Assists Front Desk in minor functions
This position is full time. Must have open availability to work morning or evening shift, weekends and holidays. Primary shift responsibility is evenings.
Prior admin/hotel front desk or PBX experience is preferred.
