DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking Phlebotomy Technician (Donor) candidates to provide support at Fort Bragg, NC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The primary purpose of this position is to interact with donors to collect blood products. Performs a variety of duties on a rotating basis in various sections to include phlebotomy, registration, vitals, donor interview, initial blood product processing, and donor recovery.

  • Performs phlebotomy to draw blood samples and blood products from adults; reviews collection kit to ensure all required information is present; determines types of specimens to be collected and if proper patient preparation has been accomplished; selects appropriate venipuncture site and cleans to ensure contamination-free field, taking into account any adverse reaction to cleaning solutions if indicated by Soldier/civilian or medical personnel

  • Performs routine and complicated venipuncture. Applies sterile dressing to site and instructs donors on care required to prevent infection and/or bruising.

  • Performs and documents results of waived Point of Care Testing in the Vitals Section.

  • Labels specimens in accordance with the SOP. Follows all regulatory regulations (e.g., Food and Drug Administration, AABB and College of American Pathologists) and safety guidelines for sample shipment and handling of all specimens. Follows infection control regulations in handling, storage, packaging, and disposal of biohazard materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Phlebotomist Certification

  • Must have Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or AMT

  • Experience performing at least 50 successful donor collections with an accredited laboratory with in the last 2 years

  • BLS - Basic Life Support

  • US Citizen

  • NACI background check

Properly completes required project and service documentation. Location: Fort Bragg, NC (military experience not required). All work will be based at this location. Company vehicle and all necessary tools are provided. Diagnoses and repairs HVAC control systems malfunctions requiring knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test modifications in multiple languages of systems software. 2. Consults with the customer through data gathered and site assessments. 3. Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with Operations Manager, Project Manager and/or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required in an ethical and professional manner. 4. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and or replacement. Promotes the sale of add-on work. 5. Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards. Provides safety awareness while working on site with Johnson Controls subcontractors . 6. Trains the customer in control systems operations. Delivers manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs as required. 7. Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates and punch lists. 8. Conducts self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company. 9. Other duties related to the commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems and energy management systems as assigned. What we look for Required: 1. Experience in servicing HVAC Building Automation and Control systems (Direct Digital Control systems). 2. Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner. 3. Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. 4. U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance required. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.) Preferred: 1. Knowledge and experience working with Metasys system 2. Demonstrated experience with programming of Building Automation Systems (DDC systems) 3. Experience with integration of systems. Experience working with Lonworks (Lon) strongly preferred. 4. Experience working with electrical metering systems. 5. Experience working with networked systems.
