Full Time 40 hours Range URCA 205 Phlebotomy
Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, coordinates all aspects of the daily operations of a specific section or area of responsibility in Phlebotomy. Routinely visits assigned phlebotomy locations and is accessible to staff.
Provides technical direction, training, and is accountable for the professional conduct and technical performance of personnel. Ensures operations meet all regulatory requirements. Assists with problem solving and serves as an interface to the customer.
SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED:
Responsible for technical and behavioral performance of staff in assigned area of responsibility.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Standard office equipment, including desktop computers. Hospital and Laboratory information systems and other software as needed.
Phlebotomy equipment including needles and vacutainers. Basic laboratory equipment such as centrifuges and pipettes.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree in science, management, or a related field and two years of laboratory or phlebotomy experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience or certification. Phlebotomy certification or experience preferred.
Valid driver's license/reliable transportation on a daily basis. Knowledge of medical terminology/anatomy, customer service experience a plus.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $19.91 - $26.88 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
