What you'll do:

• Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety,

• Assesses patient reactions to specimen procurement.

• Performs Venipuncture on adult patients according to established protocol.

• Obtains specimens according to priority and scheduled draw time.

• Ensures that specimens are properly labeled and suitable for testing.

• Performs other duties as needed.

What you'll need for this job:

• High School diploma required

• Phlebotomy formal training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Phlebotomy experience required - 2 years experience preferred
