We are searching for a Phlebotomist, PRN. Using appropriate safety policies, a Phlebotomist collects specimens on patients of all ages while maintaining a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction.
Essential Core Functions:
Performs specimen collection to the extent determined by laboratory section competency
Communicates technical information to medical and lay persons
Instructs patients on proper specimen collection procedures
Reviews various laboratory reports for completeness and takes measures to remediate any deficiencies found
Utilizes appropriate age related criteria for communication comfort and safety of patients
