At Coastline Wellness, we are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our team. We are a small private medical practice with an opening for a part-time position (Tuesdays and Thursdays) as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, and/or and Registered Nurse (RN). More hours can be added as needed. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws and collect other specimens for laboratory testing (Phlebotomist/RN)
  • Assist healthcare providers in clinical procedures with set up/clean up, charting patient vitals
  • Provide direct patient care, administer medications (RN), and assist with medical procedures
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records and assist with charting
  • Use autoclave to sterilize tools for procedures and keep auto clave clean and maintained
  • Follow all safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Excellent customer service in verbal communication, telephone calls and messaging center.
  • Complete prior authorizations on CoverMyMeds, Chart Medication Tracking Logs and Respond to pharmacy inquiries to both pharmacy and patients
  • Assist with administrative duties not limited to answering phones to support patient medication refills, scheduling appointments etc.
  • Maintain an organized and clean, sterile back of the house at all times and before leaving at the end of the day.

Requirements

  • Phlebotomist: Valid certification and experience in phlebotomy
  • Medical Assistant: Certification as a Medical Assistant and knowledge of clinical procedures
  • RN: Valid RN license and clinical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
  • Arrive on time for work, work required hours, work with integrity and attention to details.
