Job Description

Seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to perform various duties including blood draws, specimen labeling and storage, and data entry. The role involves extensive interaction with patients, explaining procedures clearly and courteously, and processing specimens like centrifuging and splitting. The candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry, understanding physician orders, and ensuring specimen integrity during transport. Training will be provided to ensure proficiency in all required tasks. This position requires flexibility to float to different sites and availability for varied shifts within the operating hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Redlands, California.

Work Environment

The position is based in Patient Service Centers with floating assignments to locations in San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, and Beaumont. The work environment involves standing most of the day and handling a large volume of patients, including pediatric and geriatric. Teamwork is crucial as teams can range from 4-5 to about 10 members at different sites.
