What We Are Looking For:
Teladoc Health is hiring a top notch Pharmacy Tech who will provide invaluable support to Teladoc Health physicians in a call center/on call environment as well as ensure the superior care of all patients treated through Teladoc Health. In this fast-paced role, your primary responsibilities will entail calling in physicians' orders or assisting the physician in ERX prescribing and answering calls related to pharmacy issues. Please note you will not exercise medical judgment but transmit physician's orders.
What You Will Do:
Ensuring prescriptions are completed in a timely manner per provider order under the supervision of Teladoc Health Physician and Nurse Supervisor.
Contacting members/patients for any prescription order discrepancy or clarification.
Representing Teladoc Health to members and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Providing prescription follow-up and fulfillment services within the contact center environment.
Receiving escalated calls from patients or providers and de-escalate these calls to a reasonable outcome for all parties.
Complying with all applicable regulations (i.e. HIPAA).
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Must be Board Certified Pharmacy Technician (actively licensed).
Minimum of 1-year experience in a call center environment helpful.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Knowledge of Healthcare and medical terminology.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Must be able to maintain department production standards daily.
