Providence is calling a Pharmacy Technician (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

Performs functions associated with the preparation, issuance and recording of unit dose, IV admixtures, floor stock, outpatient prescriptions and other hospital pharmacy processing which are permitted by state regulations under the immediate supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Performs routine functions assisting the pharmacist in collecting and verifying patient medication histories.

Performs all duties in a manner which promotes and supports the Cores Values of the Sisters of Providence.

  • Follow safety and infection control standards

  • Communicate effectively with others including to be able to follow instructions

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and employer information

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

  • Provide quality and effective customer service

  • Perform the physical/functional requirements of the position

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Registered with WA State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
