Pharmacy Technician - PRN

As a Pharmacy Tech at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, you'll join a team and be a part of a culture that's dedicated to improving lives.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Courses in mathematics are necessary, typing, and medical terminology helpful.

• Up to six (6) months of on-the-job training is provided.

• Verbal and written communication skills; independent thinking/sound judgment, manual and finger dexterity.

• PTCB CPhT Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

About the Job:

• Under the direction of the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Supervisors, Technician Supervisor, or Registered Pharmacist in charge, the Pharmacy Technician assists in providing pharmaceutical care to all patients.
