Position Summary:

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist store leaders and associates in providing a positive customer shopping experience and increase associate interest in customer service/relations to enhance the company's reputation as the 'Best In Class' in the retail food industry.

  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold throughout the store.

  • Enter patient's information into computer accurately and efficiently.

  • Count, measure and prepare specified product using company best practices.

  • Follow the appropriate staging procedures.

  • Maintain records on prescription volume and sales.

  • Perform posting audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.

  • Input accurate scanner data weekly.

  • Process customer transactions in a quick and efficient manner.

  • Promote the sale of any current charitable promotions to our customers.

  • Understand and follow company guidelines on tendering electronic fund transactions, such as credit/debit cards, EBT and gift cards, as well as cash and check transactions.

  • Understand and adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, company limits on cash shortages and shrink guidelines.

  • Understand the operation of the cash register and follow all cashier handling policies to prevent loss.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.

  • Display a positive attitude while interacting with customers and peers.

  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notifying appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.

  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identifying/notifying store management of unsafe conditions and customer/associate accidents.

  • Report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.

  • Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities, except those that require a judgment call by a pharmacist.

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to complete certification or licensure depending upon state requirements

  • Ability to learn and comply with HIPAA regulations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer records and information

SUMMARY Responsible for overall coordination and processing of patient medication orders, to include order intake within regulatory boundaries, patient services coordination, and Pharmacy Technician duties as defined by policy and regulation and while under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Enters new prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system where permitted by state pharmacy regulation, and under the direct supervision the Pharmacist after their review of the prescription and in accordance with Company policy and procedure. * Processes prescription refills, to include: * refill confirmation when appropriate; * review of pending refills with the supervising Pharmacist; * generate the refill documentation; * adjudicate medication based pharmacy claims when appropriate. * Generates delivery and equipment pick-up tickets. * Communicates as necessary with patients to identify general health status, medication compliance, drug and supply inventory, and provide overall coordination of care and service (custom assessment in CPR+). * Gathers, organizes, documents (in CPR+ and electronic medical record), and reports clinical data for review and action by the patient care team (Pharmacist, Nurse, prescriber) to include: * lab data; * results of patient contact documented on the custom assessment; * hospitalizations; * follow-up appointments. * Generates pharmacy and clinical reports from CPR+ as directed. * Assists in coordination of patient assessment, drug compounding, and delivery to meet lead time and delivery deadlines. * Coordinates with warehouse and pharmacy team to ensure all medications needed are available for patient care. * Attends patient care meetings and provide information status reports. * Assists in the prioritization and the progress of patient paperwork through the patient care pathway. * Tracks controlled substance prescriptions requiring prescriber signature using CPR+. * Assists in maintaining the accuracy of CPR+ branch specific supply templates. * Capable of sterile compounding according to Company policy. * Performs the Pharmacy Technician duties considered acceptable by state pharmacy regulations under supervision of a licensed registered Pharmacist. * Completes all necessary paperwork, forms, and records according to policy. * Maintains solid knowledge of, and complies with, Company policies and procedures. * Each employee is responsible for adhering to those performance programs, policies, procedures, guidelines and internal control standards established to guide the operation of the Company.
