Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Schedule technicians for all DMH Campuses

• Coordinate inventory ordering

• Follow up on special orders and backorders

• Process returns timely

• New Technician Training

• Follow up on technician training and monitoring completion of daily duties

• Monitoring monthly technician assignments

• Assisting with crash cart updates - all campuses

• Assisting with processing & filing & storage of invoices

• Other projects as directed

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Certification with PTCB required.

Registration: Must be registered with AL State Board of Pharmacy and in good standing

Experience: Three years of Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferentially- experience at DMH. Trained in all DMH inpatient pharmacy technician areas preferred.
