Halifax Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy Department.
The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, providing medications and IV solutions for patients. This individual must promote positive customer relationships and be an effective Team Member. While prior experience is preferred, Halifax Health also offers a comprehensive Pharmacy Technician training program for those not registered but interested in Pharmacy.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must either be Registered through the State of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician or complete available PassAssured Pharmacy Technician training program.
Prior experience is preferred.
National PTCB Certification is preferred.
Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with Team Members at all levels in the organization.
Professionalism in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel is required.
