As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm, and weekends from 8am-2pm as needed.

About the Facility: Brentwood Hospital is a 200-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility that offers psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy utilizes centralized pharmacy utilizes HCS, ePharmacy, and Pyxis automatic dispensing systems. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and weekends from 8am-2pm.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Recent experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred

• Omnicell experience preferred

• Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License in good standing

• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office

• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test

• Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

• Hep B3 Series (or declination)

• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th

• COVID Vaccine
