PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME
SOUTH SOUND BEHAVIORAL HOSPITAL
Hours: This position will work 40 hours per week M-F.
As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Facility: Opening May 2019, South Sound Behavioral Hospital will be a 108-bed psychiatric hospital that will provide a full continuum of behavioral and addiction treatment services to patients of all ages Located in the Woodland Square District in Lacey, Washington, the hospital will provide behavioral health and addiction treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and senior adults.
Comprehensive services will include free 24/7 assessments, inpatient and intensive outpatient care. The hospital has gained widespread public support.
High School Diploma or GED
Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
