Position Summary

Coram/CVS Specialty Infusion Services is looking for customer service-oriented professionals to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Support!

In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will work alongside our pharmacist by communicating with patients, physicians, and other health care professionals regarding the coordination of home infusion services.

As a Pharmacy Technician you will:

Maintain patient accounts, updating all clinical documentation, medication profiles and insurance information.

Call patients to coordinate and ensure smooth service and delivery of their medication to their homes, documenting discussion in progress notes and rescheduling patient for subsequent deliveries.

Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist

Track patient pumps - swapping out when pump is due for PM and retrieving pumps when patient discharges from services.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license required

  • Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician or applicable customer service experience in a healthcare setting

  • Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners and patients

Preferred Qualifications

National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $29.88

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
