Pharmacy Technician

Description:

The Pharmacy Technician will perform all tasks related to the preparation of prescription medication under the supervision of a pharmacist; maintain drug inventory under the supervision of a pharmacist; accept requests for medication refills from patients and prepare the medication for refill under the supervision of a pharmacist; provide excellent customer service; other duties as assigned.

If other techs in other locations call out (Security, Glen Burnie, Columbia) - they will need to travel to other sites as needed.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation

• Current Maryland State Pharmacy Technician Certificate in good standing.

• 1-2 years pharmacy technician experience in retail pharmacy setting
