Pharmacy Technician

We are hiring for multiple Pharmacy Technicians in the Columbus, OH area! These roles will be working in a closed door pharmacy setting where you will be helping to fill prescriptions for mail orders.

Job Description:

• The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment is responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system.

• Follows standard operating procedures and performs duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

• Develops and maintains proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations

• Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system.

• Performs manual packing duties including, but not limited to, packing and shipping, completing orders, verifying accuracy based on conformance to quality standards/specifications and preparing packages for mail.

• Affixes labels to the appropriate containers.

• Conducts cycle counts and put away.

• Resolves order delay reporting as well as upgrade, expedite and cancels orders.

• May also be responsible for stocking non-pharmaceutical products.

• Other responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictate.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license

• Prefer: Pharmacy Technician experience (3-6 months)
