Pharmacy Tech - Contract To Hire -

Large managed care company is looking for a licensed Pharmacy Technician with great communication skills for a contract to hire position.

WORK LOCATION: Pine Brook, NJ 07058
PAY: $22.00

CONTRACT DATES: 10/06/2024 to 12/31/2024- HIRE

HOURS: full-time (40 hours/week) Sunday – Thursday. Candidates are required to have flexibility to work our 8 hour shift schedule during our normal business hours of (3pm – 11:30pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
• Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issues
• Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
• Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
• Contact members / patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details, consult on medication issues, and set up treatment in on-site facilities
• Interpret provider prescription and create order, access, input and retrieve prescription and medical / lab information from computer system, verifies whether order / drug is reimbursable / covered

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highschool/GED or equivalent
• Texas board of Pharmacy Licensed Technician
• Prior pharmacy/infusion experience is preferred
• Good communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs continuously
