Responsibilities

• Complete physician orders by retrieving orders and completing the necessary steps to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• Assist with inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies by replenishing supplies, documenting items to be ordered, and rotating stock to maintain appropriate stock levels.

• Assist in the maintenance of orderliness and cleanliness of the department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

• High School diploma or GED

• Ability to calculate and compound medication orders

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Intravenous Admixture Certification course through an approved ACPE provider

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Previous pharmacy experience
