Job Description

As a Pharmacy Supervisor at Physicians Regional Healthcare System you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best, providing quality care to our patients! Requirements:

• Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
• PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.

About the job:

• Collaborate on our pharmacy leadership team to grow the pharmacy department into the best department! Lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, residents and students.

• Actively participate on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee.

• Liaison with nursing, physicians and various departments throughout the hospital.

• Ensure compliance with the board of pharmacy, USP 797, USP 800, the joint commission and other regulatory bodies.

• Manage the day to day operation of the pharmacy, including the pharmacy schedule and payroll.

• Staff as needed in the department.

• Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals.

• Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians.
