Pharmacy Team Leader, Evening Shift

As a Pharmacy Team Leader at Children's Health, you'll help make life better for children by performing the duties of a pharmacist as well as supervising the daily operations of pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:
Compounding, labeling and packaging medications, providing advice regarding medication use, dosage, side effects and composition, and monitoring patient profiles.
Participating in the selection, training, orientation and assignment of staff.
Evaluating employee performance, and conducting coaching and counseling when appropriate.
Experience
Required: At least two years of job-related experience
Preferred: At least three years of job-related experience and completion of a residency
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy or equivalent experience
Required: Completion of a 20-hour ACPE-accredited IV training course
Preferred: Doctorate of pharmacy and completion of a pediatric clinical pharmacy residency, or equivalent experience
Licenses and certifications
Required: Current Texas licensure and registration as a pharmacist
Required: PALS certification for all emergency care and critical care clinical pharmacists
Required: BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Required: ALS certification for all emergency care clinical pharmacists within 180 days of hire
