POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides all the functions of a clinical pharmacist as part of a structured training program to develop the resident's skills and knowledge as it relates to the practice of clinical pharmacy. Residents are responsible for providing patient-centered, evidence-based pharmaceutical care for patients of ProMedica Toledo Hospital,Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital, and ProMedica Flower Hospital with oversight by clinical staff pharmacists and clinical pharmacy specialists. This position is filled via the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP ) recruitment process dictated by accreditation standards, including use of the National Matching Service.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Meets all the program requirements of a PGY1 pharmacy resident as outlined by ASHP accreditation standards and in the residency program manual.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program
License: Must be a registered pharmacist in the state of Ohio or obtain licensure as outlined in residency manual
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations. Must be able to input and retrieve computer information and differentiate between colors.
