Under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations Manager and Pharmacy Director, the Pharmacy Regulatory, Compliance, and Diversion Coordinator is responsible for:
Assuring compliance with all regulations including Joint Commission, CMS, DPH, DEA, FDA, Board of Pharmacy, USP 797 and USP 800.
Overseeing and auditing all pharmacy controlled substance record keeping requirements and policies under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations Manager and Pharmacy Director.
Establishing and maintaining a comprehensive surveillance program to detect potential medication diversion.
Maintaining continued readiness for regulatory reviews including Joint Commission, CMS, and Board of Pharmacy.
Serving as a Pharmacy Liaison on all compliance and regulatory committees.
Conducting regular audits to assure compliance with all regulations.
Maintaining policies to meet regulatory compliance.
Conducting training for pharmacy, nursing, and providers on regulations.
Reporting any deviations to the Operations Manager and Pharmacy Director and helping to develop reports required for external reporting.
40 hours per week, exempt.

Bachelors of Pharmacy or Pharm D required
At least two years hospital or regulatory experience required.
Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts
