Position Summary

This position assists with the planning and implementation of operational and clinical initiatives. Direct involvement in continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety plan management, financial management and daily operations is required.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of business, and/or clinical pharmacy health care environment trends.KIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE2 years practicing as a pharmacist or equivalent experience.

Additional Job Information

The Pharmacy Coordinator position for Home Infusion Pharmacy will report to the Site Manager of Pharmacy Services. He or she is responsible for coordinating daily pharmacy operational activities leading to care and services for home infusion patients.

The coordinator will work closely with a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, as well as enterprise pharmacy teams, home health nursing, care management, and physicians offices. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, compliance training and tasks; new associate onboarding; escalation of patient service needs; pharmacy student preceptorship; daily KPI tracking and reporting; planning and creating the staff schedule; participation in drug shortage strategy; and eMR template maintenance. Ideal candidates will have experience in home infusion or health-system pharmacy, leadership, change management, relationship management, project management, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
