Job Overview

Under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Operations Manager will manages all operational aspects of the pharmacy and pharmacy-run dispensaries. The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for implementing departmental policies relevant to the pharmacy, for assisting in planning and implementing new concepts in drug distribution and control in accordance with established policy and accepted standards of proper pharmacy practice.

Minimum Requirements

1.Knowledge of or experience working with the AltaMed's FQHC community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to the medically underserved;

2.A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy required;

3.Current California Pharmacy licensure

4.Ability to work evenings and weekends;

5.3-5 years of management experience strongly preferred.

6.Strong verbal and written communication skills including good organizational, detail and interpersonal skills;

7.Excellent computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy, word processing, database operations, spreadsheets, and other software systems; knowledge of QS1 preferred;

8.Bilingual is English/Spanish preferred
