Short DescriptionResponsible for the management and coordination of multiple pharmacy-related projects. Leads the planning and implementation of programs and activities that support the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.Creates detailed project plans and works with internal and external stakeholders to execute plan within specified timeframes.

Provides innovative solutions and overcomes barriers. Communicates project status on a regular basis to administration and pharmacy director.Supports overall safe and efficient operation of pharmacy at the direction of pharmacy director

Provides supervision and guidance to pharmacy personnel as assigned by pharmacy director

Evaluates and identifies opportunities for improvement to support efficient and safe care

Special Requirements

Scheduled Days / Hours: WEEKDAYS

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from accredited School of Pharmacy.

Experience:

Required License/Certifications/ Registration:

Current NJ-PHARMAC New Jersey Pharmacy license (or eligible for licensure)

Other Qualifications:

At least 5 years hospital pharmacy experience; supervisory experience required.

Additional Responsibilities: * Follows established policies and procedures. * Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors * Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians * Evaluates patients, implements and documents nursing care * Assists physicians during examinations and procedures * Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process * Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills Special Requirements Scheduled Days / Hours: Days of the week varies - 7:00am - 7:00am (3 - 12 hour shifts per week); including a rotational weekends and holidays schedule. Education: Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing - Bachelor Degree preferred. License/Certifications/Registration: Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS) Experience: 1-2 years of Critical Care and Emergency Department experience.
