In addition to leading and directing your Pharmacy Staff, comprised of both staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, you are accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. This includes: Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management A key component of the Pharmacy Manager role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)* Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge' Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).

VIEW JOBS 10/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-08T00:00 Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, according to state and federal law and in accordance with Park Nicollet policy and procedure, the Pharmacy Student Intern is responsible for providing customer service, checking the work completed by the pharmacy technicians, and preparing medications and supplies for patients, patient care areas and ancillary departments. The Pharmacy Student Intern also aids the pharmacist in processing of outpatient prescriptions, receives, stocks and reorders medications and supplies, handles cash register transactions, prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds, delivers medications, assists the pharmacist as required. The Pharmacy Student Intern in their 3rd or 4th year of pharmacy school may also be eligible to assist the Emergency Center Pharmacist with medication reconciliation and the Hospice Program Pharmacist with hospice chart review. Education/Experience: 1. Currently enrolled in an accredited professional pharmacy program with completion of at least one year in said program. 2.Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the insurability requirements relating to Park Nicollet’s motor vehicle violation criteria. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: 1. Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern. 2. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients. 3. Computer skills and familiarity with office software programs is desirable. Knowledge of automated dispensing products is desirable.
