Utilize and bring your coursework to life, while gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry Work with your preceptor, the pharmacy manager, pharmacists, and technicians to learn to better serve customer needs Answer questions, provide counseling on prescriptions, and relay any pertinent information so customers can successfully and confidently use medication at home Proactively contact internal and external business partners; comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed Required Qualifications: Current student who is in progress for or has completed 2 years of pharmacy school with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026 Pharmacy Intern Permit, where applicable by state law Preferred Qualifications: Pharmacy experience Immunization certification Systems aptitude Computer skills At Wegmans, weve long believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
