Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a preceptor pharmacist, will assist in the technical and clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
• Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
• Does related work, as required.
• Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Active Registered Pharmacy Intern in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment
• IV Certification or training, based on state requirements
• Current BLS
