This position is responsible for acting as the subject matter expert for the interpretation and implementation of pharmacy benefits, analyzing and recommending cost saving benefit options; ensuring that benefits are in compliance with state and federal regulations; supporting sales initiatives by participating on sales calls with clients and facilitating the explanation of pharmacy plans and operations; and contributing to solution design, pricing, proposal responses and ensure that performance guarantees are satisfied. This position is responsible for assisting with the development of client communications - including but not limited to proposals, reports, and presentations.


  • Bachelor degree.

  • 3 years Pharmacy experience or consultant experience.

  • Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and pharmacy benefit programs.

  • Presentation skills including developing and facilitating presentations to external parties.

  • Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills to represent the department across the company and with external parties.

  • Analytical skills.

  • PC proficiency including Excel and PowerPoint, experience developing reports and analyzing data.

  • Pharmacy Tech certification.

  • Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

This individual works directly with internal and external clients at all levels of the organization to ensure successful implementations that are executed effectively and on schedule. Implementation Consultants define the specific business requirements and goals of each client, work to configure the ADSP platform, and train end users. Implementation Consultants find solutions to complex issues and collaborate with internal teams to create innovative solutions that will transform the healthcare industry. Job Description: Role and Responsibilities * Serve as project technology implementation lead and subject matter expert for the Accountable Delivery System Platform (ADSP) and educate clients on platform functionality * Demonstrate a strong desire to understand our business, our product, our people, and our clients * Identify and document client business and technical requirements for the ADSP through client interviews and coordination with internal clinical and consulting teams * Develop ADSP configuration recommendations that support unique, client-specific business requirements and goals * Schedule, plan, and facilitate client calls and in-person meetings * Proactively identify and resolve potential issues that could impede project success * Work collaboratively with cross-functional team to ensure project success * Present ADSP functionality to senior level client representatives and foster relationships with client executive teams * Coordinate with QA on the planning and development of end-to-end client testing plan and test cases * Assist with UAT test plan and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) * Lead in development of client training and rollout plan for ADSP * Deliver ADSP training throughout the client organization in multiple formats (remote, in-person) to all levels of the client organization * Partner with account management team to drive adoption and to ensure client satisfaction * Act as client advocate to collaborate with product management and development teams to define, scope, develop, and implement new functionality * Collaborate in the ongoing development of project deliverables including training materials * Maintain and share business and technical expertise with clients and other staff * Provide ongoing technical and business support of the ADSP with assigned client(s) * Direct and perform follow-up as necessary to complete projects and elicit customer satisfaction * Other responsibilities as assigned Experience, Qualifications and Education * Bachelors Degree in healthcare, technology, business, or relate field required, Masters Degree preferred * 5-7 years of experience in technology implementation * Experience in the healthcare industry in a technical capacity (EMRs, HIEs, HL7 etc.) * Experience with customer facing businesses analysis and/or project management * Demonstrates a strong drive for efficiency, problem resolution, and consistent progress on deliverables while ensuring timeliness and a focus on quality * Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing solutions * Effectively establish strong working relations with various internal organizations including IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations * Experience managing multiple concurrent project tasks and competing priorities * Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to present complex information to both business and technical audiences * Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities * Detail oriented; able to work independently and set priorities * Must be able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment * Ability to travel nationally up to 50% - 60% Lumeris is an EEO/AA employer M/F/V/D.
