The Engagement Specialist is responsible for simplifying the transition from hospital to home by logistically organizing, collaborating, and delivering required discharge medications, self-care products, and post-acute care services to patients. The Engagement Specialist is responsible for actively engaging patients, providing convenient and affordable solutions, and coordinating service delivery to patients prior to discharge.
The Engagement Specialist simplifies the discharge medication process, making it easy, so that patients can focus on what really matters - getting better and staying healthy. The Engagement Specialist provides customer service excellence to all patients, creating remarkable patient experiences.
Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years customer service, sales experience required. Retail experience, healthcare experience preferred.
Additional skills required: Demonstrates professionalism, confidence, strong organizational skills, efficiency, initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Strong oral, written, and personal communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Creative problem solving ability.
Advanced computer skills. Experience with web based tools, point of sale, and clinical systems.
