Pharmacy Clerk - Westminster, CA

About the Role

As a pivotal member of the House Rx team, you will work closely with specialty care clinics and the House Rx team to improve the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and their caregivers.

What You'll Do

• Serve as an internal courier for the pharmacy, delivering medications and supplies to various clinics and or patients

• Assist with onsite non-technician tasks including daily startup and shutdown duties, building boxes, and maintaining inventory of supplies

• Support pharmacy staff with drug ordering and inventory management tasks as needed

• Package medications and supplies for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations

• Coordinate with external couriers such as FedEx for outgoing shipments and track incoming deliveries

• Manage shipping will call, assisting with locating shipments and providing excellent customer service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy workspace to uphold safety and compliance standards

• Other projects, initiatives, and duties as assigned

About You

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management is a plus

• Willingness to adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines

• You are excited about working in a start-up environment and helping to build workflows and processes from the ground up

• You are an initiative taking individual contributor who can also promote teamwork and collaboration amongst colleagues

• Demonstrated ability to multitask as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management/or needs of the department

• Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Salary Range: $16/hr - $22/hr

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements equity, paid time off and benefits.
