Supports the development, implementation and support for pharmacy programs, vendors, and/or services for the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Define requirements, analyze, design, enhance, and develop resources to efficiently and effectively fulfill pharmacy initiatives and planning/development objectives while maintaining a high degree of quality and attention to detail
Interface with other corporate line of business to identify process improvement projects while demonstrating an advanced knowledge level of pharmacy policies and procedures, including contracts, reimbursement rules, benefit structures, and clinical programs
Support, contribute to and/or facilitate the identification/prioritization of pharmacy business/process solutions to prevent compliance risks
Facilitate the coordination of external partners/vendors with internal partners and personnel assigned to a project to define project implementation activities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
Demonstrated project management skills
Possess strong analytical, technical, and decision making skills
Ability to meet schedule deadlines and departmental goals
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability
Must possess ability to maintain professional relationship with vendors and other external partners
Job Specific Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Medicare and Commercial products
Experience with product, program, and benefit implementation and/or management is a plus.
