Duties: Utilizing experience with review and analysis of safety data, Spotfire and medical writing to lead safety data review meetings and teams.

Participate in related pharmacovigilance and product-development subteam(s) in the Immuno-Oncology and Oncology therapeutic area. Elevate signal detection findings impacting risk benefit to the Medical Surveilance Team Chair. Author pharmacovigilance contributions to specify sections of the periodic benefit risk evaluation reports and development safety update reports with oversight.

Author safety data query responses to health authorities including coordination and integration of input from other functional groups to support responses to ad hoc queries with oversight. Provide periodic summary of pertinent safety-related literature and analysis of pre-determined core signal detection. Provide summaries, evaluations and conclusions with oversight. Collaborate within and across BMS functions or business partners with appropriate disciplines to identify and ensure management of internal and external documentation and support when required.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical or a related field plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate clinical experience showing demonstrable ability in the skills set described above.

VIEW JOBS 3/21/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-19T00:00 Summary We are seeking a Sr. Research Scientist with experience in sample handling, inventory management, and laboratory automation to join the Compound Management group within the Leads Discovery & Optimization (LDO) team at our state-of-the-art facility in Central NJ. The LDO group leverages technology, innovation, and broad scientific knowledge to deliver comprehensive in vitro data packages to support all phases of drug discovery at BMS. The Compound Management candidate will be responsible for: Daily compound distribution and fulfillment request supporting the Discovery portfolio. Coordination of daily compound activities to ensure production schedules are achieved in a reliable and efficient manner. Collaboration with team members and partners to design and continuously improve laboratory workflows to ensure on-time delivery of requests. Partner with stakeholders and functional groups to ensure maximum access to our compound collection. Facilitate and implement laboratory equipment purchases and evaluate manual process workflows, scout technology and develop appropriate and cost effective solutions. The candidate will work in a highly matrixed environment and lead cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate support, service and vendor relationships are implemented and maintained with a focus on measuring and improving stakeholder satisfaction and service quality. Position Requirements Bachelor, Master's or Doctorate's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience in compound management, high throughput screening, process improvement, and/or lab automation Hands on experience with common laboratory operations, liquid handling equipment (TECAN EVO) and automated plate-based equipment (HighResBiosolutions). Experience in Titian Mosaic inventory management software and operation of automated compound storage and retrieval systems (Brooks). Working knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, Java, Oracle, Cellario, EVOware, Strata and Microsoft Office applications. Experience in monitoring infrastructure QC/QA metrics including, instrument availability, reliability, and utilization. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with strong customer focus. Highly developed project management skills with experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined groups with demonstrated ability to work in a matrix and multi-site work environment, manage multiple priorities, and at times be self-directed Excellent written and communication skills Preferred experience or formal training in Lean Six Sigma or service operations management methodologies.
