Pharmacist
Oversee and lead patient oriented pharmaceutical care services and programs, including creation and maintenance of pharmaceutical care plan, cost-effective therapeutic drug monitoring, and identification of opportunities for program improvement. Serve as liaison between staff members and pharmacy leadership, monitor and report applicable data to pharmacy team, provide training and educational support for development of clinical skills and programs to staff. Lead efforts to educate other disciplines regarding impact of patient care activities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of four years clinical practice experience in the clinical specialty OR postgraduate year two residency or fellowship in the specialty OR Board Certification OR Board Certification within 18 months of hire is required.
Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
Demonstrate excellence in clinical areas as displayed by ability to consistently and completely meet and contribute to updating standards of practice required.
Demonstrate excellence in training undergraduate students, residents, and pharmacists as evidenced by student/trainee evaluations required.
Maturity and leadership skills required.
Licensed in the state of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted upon start or transfer required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
Preferred Qualifications:
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one or year two residency as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
Specialty Pharmacist Certification (CSP) or Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) Certification preferred.
