Inpatient Pharmacist # Inpatient Pharmacy Department Rotating Shifts, Part-Time, No Benefits , 16 hrs per pay period Position Overview: As a Part-Time Pharmacist at Saint Anthony Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring medication therapy, and providing vital drug information to healthcare professionals and patients. Additionally, you will oversee pharmacy support personnel to uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, maintaining compliance with state and federal laws. Conduct thorough medication reviews to prevent adverse drug interactions, ensure proper dosing, and promote cost-effective therapeutic outcomes. Offer drug information and patient education to enhance medication adherence and safety.

Supervise pharmacy support staff to optimize workflow and efficiency. Prepare sterile products using stringent aseptic techniques and ensure proper handling of controlled substances. Coordinate the distribution of floor stock orders and emergency medication supplies to support patient care.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree from an accredited institution. Strong ability to calculate medication dosages and identify drug interactions.
