As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the community we serve. Provides pharmaceutical care to patients, verifies medication orders, compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and hospital policy.

Serves as a resource to other healthcare professionals including pharmacy students and residents and ensures that patient care meets standards of safety and effectiveness. Oversees the duties of the pharmacy technicians and interns. Ensures safety and appropriateness of medication therapy through order verification, dispensing, home medication reconciliation, chart review, patient counseling, lab value monitoring and dose/therapy adjustment as applicable.

Documents medication related plans and interventions in electronic medical record. This includes supervision of pharmacy technicians and/or interns who support the role of the pharmacist in the drug delivery system. Precept pharmacy students and residents, as applicable.

Pharmacy degree (Pharm.Bachelor of Pharmacy) from accredited school of pharmacy No experience required Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
