The Pharmacist Manager - Senior will lead all aspects of the operations for new or existing products and technologies in our multi-shift pharmaceutical facility. You will direct the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of packaging and printing. As a Senior Manager, you will lead three departments: Facility Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, and Operations.
The leader in this role will have the opportunity to impact our business in the following ways:
Works closely with quality groups to ensure strict compliance with good pharma production practices (cGMPs) at all times.
Oversees or prepares documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures
Ensures the effective use of materials and equipment in producing quality products.
Develops and monitors metrics to related to expenses.
Investigates new technologies and prepares capital requests and justification.
Formulates and approves pharma production policies, procedures, and programs.
Develops staff to their full potential and provides relevant opportunities that improve employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning

5+ years management experience in cGMP/FDA (Pharma, Medical Device, Cosmetic) or similarly regulated industry (e.g. Pharmacy)
Operations management experience
Proven proficiency using Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated success utilizing data analysis and/or Financial/Costing knowledge to make decisions
10+ years of management experience in FDA manufacturing (Pharma, Medical Device, or Cosmetic)
Knowledge of pharma industry and management methodologies such as ISO 9000, Total Quality Management, or Six Sigma.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access
Building Management System
Pharmaceutical packaging, specifically unit-dose, and related validation
Production planning and scheduling
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, Business, or related field. Will consider a combination of education and experience.
