On Call Rotation.
Team Highlights -
We are an Inpatient pharmacy team that cares for many areas of a 330-bed hospital. Our team supports critical care, oncology, neurology, surgery services such as a trauma service line, nephrology, and many more acute care areas. The team consist of multiple pharmacist and technicians, serving Kootenai Health Inpatient facility. We currently have both centralized and decentralized pharmacist completing both operational and clinical tasks.
Responsible for the full scope of pharmacy services in practice area. As a professional pharmacist, takes personal responsibility for competency in all areas of care delivery related to pharmacy practice area.
Reviews medication orders and medication dosing
Consults with patients and members of the healthcare team
Oversees pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians and their work products
Completes additional project and/or committee work related to practice area
Precepts pharmacy students and/or residents
Performs a variety of tasks
Performs other related duties as assigned
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy OR a Bachelor's degree with hospital experience preferred
Must be licensed and/or License eligible in the state of Idaho. Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of date of hire.
Demonstrates proficiency with electronic health record and other technology as required by practice site
