Pharmacist

Responsibilities

This is an inpatient Pharmacist role assuring clinically appropriate and safe medication distribution to all patients. The Pharmacist will:

• Review and verify inpatient and outpatient physician orders,

• Perform clinical dosing functions,

• Check and prepare medications to restock automated dispensing machines

• Prepare medications in a USP797 compliant IV room.

• Process outpatient employee prescriptions on occasion.

• Supervise technician staff who will assist with the above functions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy, required Over 6 months to 1 year Computer Experience preferred Licenses and Certifications:Pharmacist
